THOMAS GRETHE TAKES UP NEW ROLE AS FP CSO

Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG, the first multi-channel provider for mail communication and first accredited De-Mail provider, has appointed Thomas Grethe as its new CSO. Grethe will press ahead with the company’s multi-channel strategy. He has been responsible for all national and international sales activities since 15 June 2013. His area of responsibility also includes strategic business development, marketing and corporate communications.

Grethe commented on his new role: “FP has an excellent reputation within the industry. The company is very well positioned with its solutions for physical and electronic mail communication in Germany. The next step is to market this unique range of services globally and to ensure that the national and international sales organisation is aligned accordingly. This will open up additional growth potential for the FP Group and further strengthen its position on the market.”

In Grethe, the FP Group is gaining one of the top managers in the industry. Qualified in banking and business administration, Grethe has extensive sales expertise in the IT and telecommunications industry. The 53-year-old has worked as sales manager and managing director at high-profile companies in the document management sector, including Oki Systems, Konica Minolta Printing Solutions and Ricoh. Most recently, he was the Chairman of the Board of Management of Utax GmbH, which was acquired by the Kyocera Corporation in 2010. In this role, he made an important contribution to the successful expansion of Utax’s national and international specialist retail and distribution business and brand development, and was responsible for its integration into the Kyocera Corporation’s global structures.
