Berlin, 11th May 2020 - FP InovoLabs GmbH, specialist for secure end-to-end communication in the Internet of Things (IoT), is now an official partner of Telekom. The background to this development is the certification of the hardware "FP Secure Gateways" for the Telekom "Cloud of Things", the Group's Internet of Things platform. This hardware now supplements Telekom's IoT gateway portfolio with a further solution for securely and correctly connecting IoT solutions to the cloud platform.
In this regard, FP InovoLabs GmbH and Deutsche Telekom have now entered into a cooperation agreement for an indefinite period of time.
Customers benefit from complete solutions
With this cooperation both partners improve their customer offer: FP's IoT gateways add another security component to the Telekom IoT portfolio and protect customer projects from unauthorised access in the Industrial Internet of Things.
In return, FP InovoLabs uses Telekom's Cloud of Things IoT SaaS platform for its own needs and for customer projects. These include, for example, M2M service platforms or sensor systems platforms.
“In the growth market of machine-to-machine communication, security is becoming increasingly important," observed Uwe Hübler, CEO of FP InovoLabs GmbH, "and together with Deutsche Telekom we can meet the growing demand much better. Having such a strong partner at our side in this market definitely gives us a new impetus for growth.”
Both parties will conduct joint marketing and sales activities in order to position the cooperation in the German market.
