Data is the gold of the 21st century. Undoubtedly a true statement, but as with any valuable raw material it’s ultimately what you do with it that counts. Therefore, capturing and collecting data is not an end in itself; intelligent linking, analysis, visualisation and calls to action make data a truly valuable resource. This is why we want to significantly expand what we offer our customers and move away from being a hardware-based gateway business to Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
This will allow us to capture and transmit data as well as develop end-to-end solutions for processing data for our customers and making it usable, e.g. for monitoring heating systems, predictive maintenance and incident management.
Our business unit IoT develops strong, user-centric value propositions using a lean start-up approach. Using our expertise in a range of application fields, we want to scale our IoT solutions and tackle the real estate, energy, and waste management industries.
