Digital signature enables new business processes

FP Sign is free of charge for industries most affected by corona

FP Mentana Claimsoft GmbH, a subsidiary of Francotyp-Postalia (FP), is offering its FP Sign digital signature solution for contactless work for free during the corona crisis to industries that have been most affected.

Berlin 25/05/2020 - The professional world is currently developing a new contactless and digital identity to help reduce the long-term risk of infection. Digital signature solutions such as FP Sign can help to establish contactless business processes in order to ensure people remain productive and healthy. Business groups that are most affected can use this solution free of charge until the end of 2020.

United against Corona

"All business communication processes can be optimised digitally," explains Stephan Vanberg, CEO of FP Mentana Claimsoft GmbH, which developed FP Sign. "We have decided to make our digital signature solution available for free to industries which have been most affected by corona. Business processes can now be digitalised and optimised. Our solution is not only free of germs, but also safer, more practical and faster".

In order to flatten the curve of new cases over the long term, it is best to avoid personal contact when it comes to signatures of any security level. This can be done easily and quickly with a digital signature, especially from a home office.

Used at BerlinPartner and free for many professional groups

Public institutions are also using FP Sign. "As the business development agency of the State of Berlin, we process a large number of documents every day, which still have to be signed. In some areas, we now do this digitally and in a legally compliant way with FP Sign," says Dr. Stefan Franzke, CEO of Berlin Partner. "As many colleagues are now working from home, myself included, we have the perfect opportunity to reflect on how we can make processes even easier and more efficient. As an economic and technology development agency, we see this as a great opportunity. FP's offer to make its FP Sign digital service available for free to companies that have been hit the hardest by the current situation comes at exactly the right time."

Severely affected organisations can register at https://get.fp-sign.com/de/gemeinsam-gegen-corona to take advantage of the digital signature solution free of charge until the end of the crisis. Many local authorities have significantly simplified their tendering procedures, which means that there is nothing to prevent legally compliant digital signing with FP Sign.
