FP ISReasy protects against infrastructure discount losses

THE CONVERSION TO THE ISR INFRASTRUCTURE DISCOUNT FOR POSTAL DISPATCH HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED THROUGHOUT GERMANY. HOWEVER, ERRORS ARE STILL CREEPING INTO THE NEW ISR PROCESSES, RESULTING IN COMPANIES LOSING THEIR DISCOUNTS. THE ISREASY SOFTWARE FROM FP ALLOWS THESE LOSSES TO BE IDENTIFIED AND COMPLAINTS TO BE FILED.

Berlin, 10.07.2018 – Francotyp-Postalia (FP), expert in the secure mailing business and secure digital communication processes, has launched a new software solution for the freshly introduced infrastructure discounts (ISR) of the German postal operator Deutsche Post AG (DPAG). ISReasy is an SaaS (software as a service) and standalone solution. It allows the transparent comparison of invoice credit notes during the reimbursement by DPAG and the respective consolidator. “Our software solution ISReasy makes it quick and uncomplicated for companies to identify sources of errors with the infrastructure discount, and thus to avoid losses,” says Michael Steinberg, General Manager of FP freesort. “We want our customers, and all users of the ISR, to make the best possible use of the discount. We have therefore chosen a solution that is available to all users.”

Due to the complexity of the invoice review process of DPAG for the ISR, every month high costs are generated by the companies reviewing the individual items. The lack of a direct connection between the credit notes of the participants at DPAG, the consolidators and the companies additionally increases the cost, and creates room for errors.

Automatic comparison of all credit notes

By contrast, ISReasy allows the automated comparison of all credit notes from DPAG via WEB-Frontend. Notifications of inconsistencies in the discount invoices allow companies to report these to DPAG and file complaints. This allows companies to quickly and clearly identify differences, thus avoiding the loss of their discounts. Faster invoicing processes and greater transparency in the invoicing additionally creates more space for the company to focus on its core business.

FP is the only provider of an independent solution

With ISReasy, FP is the only provider of an independent solution for comparing invoices. FP freesort offers a one-month trial version. The starter price is 99 euros per month for up to 50 invoicing items.

Background of the ISR

At the turn of the year, Deutsche Post reduced its part-performance discount by three percentage points. For both small and large companies,

this means that there is a risk of paying more postage for postal items in future. In order to avoid this, DPAG introduced the infrastructure discount, allowing the reduction in the discount to be balanced out.
