FP APPOINTS SZYMANSKI AS SPOKESMAN OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD AND EXTENDS HIS BOARD OF MANAGEMENT CONTRACT

The Supervisory Board of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG has extended Hans Szymanski's board of management contract early for a further three years up to 31st December 2014. At the same time, the Supervisory Board has appointed Herrn Szymanski Spokesman of the Management Board with effect from 1st January 2011. Szymanski has been a member of the Management Board of the FP Group since December 2008, where he is responsible for finance, production, IT, research and development, personnel and legal matters. He holds a degree in economics.

Together with his Board colleague, Andreas Drechsler, he has played a major role in developing the FP Group into a worldwide mail processing service provider. Following a process of tough restructuring, the Company has now returned to the profits zone. In the 3rd quarter of 2010, the Company reported net consolidated income of 1.6 million euros and sales revenue of 39.8 million euros. Szymanski is currently working hard on the realignment of production at the Birkenwerder site, where the next generation of machines - the Phoenix series - is due to be produced in 2011.
