Highly secure software solution with integrated signature for tax consultants and auditors

Collaboration Cloud with legally compliant digital signatures considerably simplifies work processes in law firms.

Berlin 23/07/2020 – 5FSoftware will integrate FP Sign into its Collaboration Cloud for tax consultants and auditors. The digital signature from FP Mentana-Claimsoft GmbH, a subsidiary of Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG (FP), not only saves clients from having to appear in person for their handwritten signature, but also simplifies every workflow that depends on signatures to proceed.

FP Sign makes it possible to provide documents with a legally compliant electronic signature – up to the highest available signature level according to the European signature regulation eIDAS, the so-called qualified electronic signature. The spectrum ranges from signatures for business correspondence to signatures for tax returns or audit reports.

Important feature integrated in the cloud platform

For 5FSoftware, this cooperation represents an important extension of its service portfolio. The Cloud Collaboration platform aims to organise digital collaboration between law firms and clients in a structured, time- and resource-saving manner while meeting the highest security standards. “With the electronic signature, we offer a feature that many tax consultants have so far used as a separate software component or searched for specifically. The integration into our cloud solution not only extends the scope of services, but also offers a particularly secure solution ‘Made in Germany’, where documents are processed and stored exclusively in Germany,” explains Stephanie Bogendörfer, CEO at 5FSoftware in Regensburg, the decision to partner with FP Mentana-Claimsoft GmbH.

Signatures meeting highest security standards

The FP Sign signature process is characterised by a special feature in terms of quality and security for users: data centres in Germany certified by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) are used for the process, which in turn excludes data processing in unsafe third countries. This is essential for reliable compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). FP Sign also complies with eIDAS and provides for the statutorily prescribed long-term archiving in a simple, fast and above all secure manner.

Improved client processes in secure data rooms

“For tax consulting and auditing firms, the cooperation between 5FSoftware and FP Sign represents a further step towards simplifying processes and providing security in communication with clients,” explains Stephan Vanberg, CEO of FP Mentana-Claimsoft GmbH.

5FSoftware realises its package with the integrated legally valid signature FP Sign for all professional groups where discretion and protection of trade secrets in secure data rooms is important. We provide this highly secure solution for tax consultants, auditors, lawyers and notaries.
